Dendrobium singkawangense J.J.Smith 1935


Section: Formosae
Found only in Kalimantan, in riverine hill and lower montane forests at elevations from 400 to 1700 meters as hot to warm growing epiphyte.
Clustered stems carrying several, leaves that are initially covered in black hairs.
Flower: 2 - 4 flowers, 4,5 cm broad, fleshy, white or cream color with yellow to orange on the ventral surface of the column.

Ditemukan hanya di
Kalimantan, pada hutan pinggiran sungai perbukitan dan hutan pegunungan rendah, pada ketinggian 400 hingga 1700 meter dari permukaan laut sebagai epifit di daerah panas - sedang.
Rumpun batang membawa beberapa daun yang mulanya tertutupi rambut hitam.
Bunga: 2 - 4 kuntum bunga, lingkar bunga 4,5 cm, berdaging, berwarna putih atau krem dengan warna kuning hingga oranye pada permukaan ventral kolom.

  1. @Jaeges Orchids: This orchid is beautiful, but the species of Dendrobium section formosae more difficult to maintain. The death rate is very high at the hands of collectors.
