Paraphalaenopsis A.D.Hawkes 1964

PARAPHALAENOPSIS


SUBFAMILY Epidendroideae, TRIBE Vandeae, SUBTRIBE Aeridinae.

It's endemic of Borneo, there are only four species in this genus. 
Segregate from Phalaenopsis Genus because it has a closer relationship to the Vanda Genus despite having characteristics such as Phalaenopsis Genus. 
Easier to cross-intergenera with the Vanda and Renathera Genus than with Phalaenopsis Genus
Has cylinder-shaped leaves with pointy ends.
