Found in Southeast and East Asia, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, and New Guinea at montane forest.
Terrestrial and lithophyte plant. 
A new shoots seem often to appear not from the bottom segment, that's why we can see it growing climbing upward towards the previous pseudobulbs. Then the roots soon emerge downwards from the base of the new shoots / pseudobulbs.
Flower: Up to 5 cm broad, shiny light green with red stripe on petals and some red spots on labelum, long-lasting fragrant flowers.

Indonesia:
Ditemukan di Asia Timur hingga Asia Tenggara, India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim dan Papua New Guinea pada hutan berbukit.
Termasuk jenis tanaman yang hidup di tanah dan bebatuan.
Tampaknya tunas / pseudobulb baru sering muncul bukan dari pangkal atau ruas terbawah, itulah kenapa kadang kita melihatnya tumbuh merangkak ke atas terhadap pseudobulb-pseudobuls terakhir. Lalu dengan segera, akar-akar baru pun muncul dari pangkal tunas baru tersebut. 
Lebar bunga mencapai 5 cm, harum dan tahan lama, berwarna hijau muda mengkilap dengan garis merah pada petal-petalnya dan beberapa bercak merah pada lidahnya.
